I feel like this year has been tediously slow and lightning fast both at the same time this year.
I finished the apple core quilt a week and a half ago when I made a label and bound the raw edges it took me 4 weeks from cutting the apple cores to gifting it to my living room tabby Willow.

I came to regret using 12wt Aurifil as top thread when finishing the binding and then to quilt a small quilt. As started quickly making a new privacy curtain I heard a loud Clunk! I took a look in the bobbin area and it looked clean but then I cleaned underneath and the feed dogs and got enough fluff bunnies to populate Watership Down.

The straight line quilting on this random piece of blue fabric with a pattern reminiscent of some wallpaper from the 1970s (top left) caused the mare’s nest of tangled threads (top right)… I expect to see fluff central in the bobbin area (bottom left) but instead it was quite clean…
The feed dogs as I cleaned them had a fluff fest as did the crevices and area under bobbin race as the photo bottom right shows.
After cleaning it took me half an hour to make 2 privacy curtains (one for the living room and one for the kitchen) to replace the old cafe curtains.
The next project on my agenda was to finish the binding on the project I finished quilting in January.

I’m hoping to be able to finish the other 3 quilts mentioned in this post
https://wasthatadinosaurcouk.uk/2025/02/02/where-did-january-go/
in the not too distant future.
Until next time I hope you feel you are accomplishing your goals… even if like, for myself, things haven’t gone according to plan.
