A thread I read today “How many times have you moved in your life because I’ve moved 12 times and I think that’s a lot but some folks moved more times than that”
My reply “I’m in my 10th home.
I had 3 homes before my 6th birthday.
I left home when I got married had 2 homes with my abusive ex. I then had 3 homes while raising my children solo… and 2 after my children left home. I’m 64, lived in my current home 9 years and expect to stay here the rest of my life.
My childhood homes we moved as my siblings arrived and as dad followed work.
My married homes we moved due children arriving.
While raising my children, more suitable homes.
Smaller homes as an empty nester”
