A wide concrete pedestrian walkway along a waterfront under a clear blue sky. On the left side of the walkway, there is a sturdy concrete barrier followed by a fence with narrow vertical posts. Beyond the fence, there is a blue structure that appears industrial or architectural. On the right side of the walkway, there is a metal railing next to the water. Two people are walking away from the camera along the right side of the walkway. The scene is sunny and bright, casting distinct shadows on the concrete surface. The horizon shows a distant building and more waterfront.
That blue structure is the Suggitts Lane Bridge in Cleethorpes
Every time I walk across it the noise from the ball tip echoes in the metal sides making the bridge “sing”… it sounds like a ghostly waltzer.
The first few times I heard the “music” it felt so eerie and I paused to work out what it was…
I worked out it was probably the harmonics of the sound caused by my rollerball echoing and re-echoing off the solid metal sides as it changed where the outer side was metal railing.
Sad to say that meant the bridge wasn’t haunted…
Now it’s a familiar friend.
Unfortunately the microphone on my Meta Smart glasses didn’t catch the eeriness though using headphones you may be able to partially hear the echo in this video from YouTube

I had an enjoyable week at my daughter’s.

Another highlight was the flowers in various gardens… these pink ones really caught my eye in the blur… I will be ever grateful that colour still stimulates that happy place in my brain.
Until next time.
