Walking along my brain sees a Chelsea Pensioner stood to attention in the hedge… thank you Charles Bonnet Syndrome
The reality:- Old red postbox covered in ivy. The paint on the postbox is chipped and peeling, revealing rust and signs of age. Green ivy climbs up the left side, blending with surrounding leafy plants. The postbox has a slot for mail and a notice panel, and the sky above is overcast. (Be My Ai mode of Be My Eyes)
Just another day made interesting by my sight loss and the side effects that came along for the ride… just no idea why my brain chose the 17th July 2025 to play this jolly jape when we have walked by this postbox fairly regularly for over 7.5 years.
